PoetryFest at Irish Arts Center

We're delighted to be supporting this year's 13th Annual PoetryFest at New York City's Irish Arts Center. This three-day celebration of verse, curated by Nick Laird, brings American and Irish poets together for readings, discussion, and more.

On Friday, December 2nd, a Favorite Poems reading will showcase poets reading the Irish verses they love most. Saturday, December 3rd, features free afternoon and evening readings with Victoria Kennefick, Sasha Debevec-McKenney, Seán Hewitt, Catherine Barnett, Louis de Paor, and Billy Collins. Sunday, December 4th, will conclude the festival with all-day free readings and talks by Jessica Traynor, Ilya Kaminsky, Maurice Riordan, and Patricia Smith, plus Paul Muldoon's launch of Patrick Kavanagh: Selected Poems.

And don't miss screenings of some of our favorite Irish poem films during the festival, including performances by Nithy Kasa, Venetia Bowe, Tommy Tiernan, Stephen Sexton, Chiamaka Enyi-Amadi, Doireann Ní Ghríofa, and Padraig Regan. Plus, as a special treat, our film of "Onion Poem" performed by Jessica Traynor will premiere ahead of its online release.
