Bubble

A bubble in the tub
this spring, a burgeoning
incandescent nub
of light, our own version
of the irradiated
flight that hovers
in the northern sky,
uncovers plasma
in the night for rays
that pave the stubble
of our churning bay
with the miasma
of an ordinary day.
