Honeymoon II

Stare at anything you see –
Towels on the beach,
Litter in the new lagoon,
The brochure’s vacation perks:
A hula moon on Fridays
Included in the fireworks,
A pareo blowing on a rack, –
But take the time to memorize
Hibiscus, beachplum, sea wrack:
The kinds of merchandise
That happy endings prize.
