Mist 2023

Around our world
At the end of day,
A bed of sun-laced pearl
The palm grove cloisonnés,

The background of our amber niche
Most evenings turned to haze,
Vaseline through which
The storm light plays,

Sunlight crossing grains
With the trellis
Of the building rains,
Underneath the trees’ umbrellas.
